From the volcanic hillsides of Java, this aged Indonesian coffee offers a bold and unmistakably smooth cup. Aged for a minimum of six years in warm, humid conditions, Old Brown Java develops a rich, full-bodied profile with a distinctive earthy sweetness and low acidity.
Time transforms these beans. As they mature, they mellow and darken, producing musky, spiced notes with hints of tobacco, chocolate, and caramelised sugar. The result is a deeply aromatic coffee with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel and bold intensity.
Naturally low in acidity and rich in body, Old Brown Java is perfect for espresso or as a strong, dark filter brew. Roasted dark to enhance its smoky character and bring out its natural oils, this is a coffee for those who savour depth and complexity in every cup.
